Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism: Interview with Brianna Battles
Today, I sit down with Brianna Battles, mother of two, CEO of Everyday Battles LLC, and creator of the movement and online course for coaches, Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism.
She’s also the host of The Practice Brave Podcast, which offers health and fitness tips around coaching, being coached, and transitioning through the variables of motherhood and womanhood.
Listen in as Brianna shares her mission to guide busy moms like herself in making fitness a priority in their lives, believing that “athleticism doesn’t end when motherhood begins.”
Through her platform, she demonstrates that “pregnancy and postpartum are opportunities to identify who you are and what you want long-term. They can be a catalyst to a lifetime of athleticism.”
She reminds every woman, mom or not, that it’s more than possible to stay fit beyond high school, and that it’s absolutely worth exploring the many different avenues to express oneself athletically, no matter one’s circumstances.
“That part of you is not done,” says Brianna. “It just needs to be rediscovered.”
